COVID-19 Safety Protocols at the HOPE Centre

Eagles Nest places a high priority on the health and safety of our clients, volunteers and employees.  Currently the HOPE Centre is offering limited in-person services. Many of our services have a virtual option, allowing individuals to safely access supports from home.

For all in-person services, there are safety protocols in place to help mitigate the risk of transmission of COVID-19:

  • All employees and volunteers are screened for COVID-19 regularly
  • High touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected frequently
  • The HOPE Centre is only accessed by individuals who have a scheduled appointment
  • Furniture has been arranged to accommodate physical distancing
  • Air purifiers are used throughout the building
  • Any group sessions will be limited to 7 people: 5 participants and 2 facilitators

When attending an appointment or a course, individuals will:

  • Complete an online screening prior to the day
  • Call the HOPE Centre office to notify staff of their arrival and wait for instructions when to enter
  • Wear a mask as required by the City of Hamilton
  • Sanitize or wash hands with soap and water when entering
  • Respect physical distancing
