The Capital Campaign
A feasibility study was conducted in partnership with World Vision and we identified the need for more outreach to assist, to support more families and especially children in our community.
Our H.O.P.E. Centre ( Home of Practical Education). God miraculously provided the use of a 3,000 square foot building located at 606 Dundas Street East, Waterdown through a partnership with Bethel Christian Reformed Church.
NEW AND ENHANCED PROGRAMS
This space and location is exceptionally suited for all our program needs with plenty of room for expansion to reach the growing population in Waterdown, Burlington and Hamilton areas.
AN ANSWER TO PRAYER – THE NEED
Currently Drummond House our residential home for women and children is limited in space to offer the educational program that can assist more families. We have no space to run our Children’s Program, inadequate room for our growing women’s support group and no teaching or training classrooms.
SHARE OUR VISION
In January 2017 the building was entrusted to us. Our urgent prayer is that we can renovate the building as soon as possible. The cost is beyond our current budget. Board members, staff, volunteers and supporters are on board and giving to this project, however we cannot do this without your help, people who share our vision and believe in our mission. Our goal is $100,000 .
PLEASE JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN
We envision a centre where people in our community can reach their capacity and be empowered to live a life free. We dream about a place where children coming from oppression will be heard. We are committed to restoring hope through a holistic approach at this unique centre.
